Have you missed your appointment? Due to the high volume of missed appointments we have changed our policy. The new policy can be found under policies on this website.

Patients who are booked for planned operations or procedures at Milton Keynes University Hospital may experience these being postponed when demand for emergency care is particularly high. We appreciate how difficult and upsetting this can be for those affected and will do our utmost to keep postponements to a minimum. If you are not contacted by the hospital, please continue to arrive for your appointment as scheduled.

tests_and_resultsTest Results

Please telephone for results of blood tests or x-rays between 10.00 – 3.00 whenever possible.

Blood tests and xrays take a minimum of 5 working days, although some tests do take longer.

Please note it is the patient’s responsibility to collect their own test results. Due to confidentiality, results will not be give to a 3rd party unless consent has been given by the patient.

We text patients if they need to collect a prescription or make a routine follow up appointment.  These are not for urgent follow ups and are booked into next available routine appointments.  This may be up to 4 weeks in advance.

Please ensure we have your correct mobile number as we try to keep costs down by contacting patient via text messaging.
