We understand that your time is valuable, and we always aim to see patients as close to their appointment time as possible. However, there are occasions when our clinics run behind schedule.
Our clinicians do not intentionally run late. Delays often happen because healthcare is unpredictable, and some appointments take longer than expected. This may be because a patient needs urgent medical attention, has several complex health concerns to discuss, requires unexpected treatment, or needs support with sensitive or distressing issues. When you need extra time with your clinician, we hope you would want us to give you the care and attention you deserve—and we extend the same courtesy to every patient.
We appreciate your patience and understanding if your appointment is delayed. Please be assured that our team is working hard to keep clinics running as smoothly as possible while providing safe, high-quality care.
Please arrive on time
To help us keep appointments running smoothly for everyone, we ask that you arrive a few minutes before your scheduled appointment.
If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, we may not be able to see you. This is because seeing a late-arriving patient often causes delays for everyone else booked after them and may mean there is not enough time to provide safe and appropriate care.
If you think you are going to be late, please contact the practice as soon as possible. We will do our best to advise you of your options, which may include rearranging your appointment.
Thank you for your understanding and for helping us provide the best possible service to all of our patients.
