It’s Eating Disorders Awareness Week

It’s Eating Disorders Awareness Week, and we’re here to remind you that you’re not alone 💜

This year’s theme is Community — because we know how important safe and supportive communities are for:

✨ those recovering

✨ those caring for someone in recovery

✨ those who recognise the signs of an eating disorder and want to support someone towards the help they need

Beat — the UK’s eating disorders charity — will be sharing advice on how to get involved in your community, from finding your own safe spaces to creating supportive ones for others. We encourage you to get involved with Eating Disorders Awareness Week 2026 today!

If you or someone you care about needs support right now, help is available:

📞 Beat Helpline (adults & young people) – Freephone: 0808 801 0677 (offers phone, email and webchat support)

📞 Youthline (under 25s) – 0808 801 0711 (support for young people)

📧 Email support – help@beateatingdisorders.org.uk (adults) / fyp@beateatingdisorders.org.uk (under 18s)

🌐 HelpFinder – search for local support and services via Beat’s directory online

If you or someone is in immediate danger or at risk, please contact 999 or a 24/7 crisis service such as the Samaritans on 116 123.

You do not need a diagnosis to reach out. Talking to someone is a brave first step and help is here. 💛
