Patient Notice: Changes to Sharps Bin Collection Service

We would like to update you on important changes to the sharps bin collection service provided by Milton Keynes Council for residents who self-medicate.

New Collection Process

Milton Keynes Council has introduced a new system for doorstep collection of sharps bins from residential properties.

Patients must now arrange their own collection online by completing a short form.

All patients with regular repeat sharps bin requests will receive this link via message.

Need Help?

• Patients are encouraged to complete the online form themselves.
• If a patient is unable to do this, the surgery can assist by completing the form on their behalf.

Important Notice

Collection of sharps bins at CMK Medical Centre will end on 01/01/2026.
Please ensure you are aware of this when planning for future sharps disposal.
